Abstract
Out to Sea: Essays about Child Loss and Grief seeks to explore how caregivers and loved ones of deceased children cope with life after their death. The essays provide personal stories, resources, and recommended reading for anyone studying thanatology, grief work, or coping mechanisms. Because it was an autobiographical work, there was less discovery and more summary of my own personal findings in hopes that my experiences will be translatable and relatable for others experiencing child loss.
