Abstract

21-year-old, RED returns to her woodland village. She has opted out of continued studies with castle tutors and soon to be courtly life to learn to make her own way woods. Intent on proving she is capable of the surviving the woods and of authoring her own story, she encounters escalating threats, from the Pied Piper to the Big Bad Wolf, and learns that the woods are far more dangerous than she imagined and that what you notice in the woods also notices you.
