Amanda Cockrell is the founding and former director of the Hollins Children’s Literature Graduate Programs, and currently managing editor of the English department’s literary journal, The Hollins Critic. Before retiring, she also taught creative writing and children’s literature in the university’s Master of Arts in Liberal Studies and Creative Writing MFA programs.
