Description

Dr. Sarah Jarosinski Holy is from the Richmond, Virginia area. After meeting an equine practitioner when she began riding horses at a young age, she knew she had found her career path. She graduated from Hollins University in 2012 where she was an active member of the equestrian team and student government. After living in Virginia her whole life, she moved to Texas and graduated from veterinary school at Texas A&M University in 2016. Following graduation, Sarah completed an internship at Mid Atlantic Equine Medical Center in New Jersey. Afterward, she moved back to Texas to complete a second large animal internship at Texas A&M followed by an anesthesia internship and an anesthesia residency. She became board-certified in 2022. She currently lives in San Diego, California with her husband Josh (UVA '14), an officer in the United States Navy and their two dogs, Eloise and Daphne. Sarah works at Veterinary Specialty Hospital North County in San Marcos, California in addition to offering consulting services with her own Sentinel Veterinary Anesthesia Consulting.
