Abstract
My project is a slam poetry piece. The poem I have written is about loss and the murder of loved ones of transgenders by unaccepting people. I wrote it because it's what keeps me grounded in reality, it helps me see things for what they are. It was look inwardly at the things that frighten me the most in life and things no one should ever see.
