Abstract

The purpose of this project is to provide a particular written landscape where social, political, cultural and historical contexts can be explored. This story is intended to provide a small space for those whom silence is the norm and for those who are nearly invisible. In a world where we are constantly bombarded by media messages and images, the loudest, the brightest, the most audacious story is often what we see, hear and digest. What about the quiet folk, the invisible folk? This play is intended to move the life of a homeless woman from the quiet darkness into the light.
